Chocolate Face Mask Truly A Beauty Indulgence

Yesterday my daughter and I headed to the kitchen for a chocolate face mask. And it was luxurious (smelled pretty darned good, too). Chocolate is an antioxidant that protects the skin and will leave it soft and glowing.

NOTE: be sure you use plain chocolate in cocoa form, not a cocoa mix that is loaded with sugar.


Chocolate Face Mask
1/4 cup of honey
3 teaspoons of oatmeal powder (see below)
2 tablespoons of heavy cream or sour cream
1/3 cup cocoa

Mix all ingredients and apply to your face, massaging it in so that the oatmeal will gently exfoliate, Leave it on for about 20 minutes and rinse off.

This makes a lot of facial. If you are using the recipe alone, we suggest making only half.

Make oatmeal powder by putting some oatmeal in a blender and running it until the oatmeal becomes powdery.
