If we want gorgeous, sexy legs that obviously means we don't want blobs of cellulite hanging off our legs. OK, a gross description, but nonetheless true, right? To get rid of the stuff, though, we have to know how to proceed so this is a 'how-to' for cellulite on your legs.

MYTH #1: If You're Fat You Won't Have Sexy Legs
The thing is that most of us think that only overweight women have cellulite whereas no thin ones do. But this isn't so, because cellulite is a result of our skin not being elastic, not being firm. Cellulite isn't a mystery - it's a mixture of fluid and fat deposits which settle into your skin layers. If your skin can't resist these ugly deposits, they will appear on your legs.

MYTH #2: Older Women Are The Only Ones With Cellulite
Based on the need for firmness and elasticity, it would seem that only older women have this problem. But, that's not true either, because even teenage girls get cellulite. It is just less noticeable because of their firmer, thicker skin - but it's still there.

MYTH #2: If I Eat Five Calories A Week I'm Sure To Have Sexy Legs!
An extreme diet won't get rid of the stuff, either. One of the first thing that happens when we try to starve ourselves into thinness is that we lose not fat, but muscle. Obviously, we won't have firm, gorgeous legs without muscle.

Since you have lost a lot of muscle tone too, you may actually wind up with a higher fat percentage of your overall body weight. This will make the cellulite appear even worse.

3 Ways to Eliminate, or Minimize, Cellulite

Regular exercise helps. Walking, for example, is great because it builds muscle in the legs. It's a much better choice than more stationary efforts.

An Odd Tip: I've always had muscle in my legs because I often wear backless shoes. Wearing this footwear forces us to build muscle because to keep them on we have to use our toes in ways that carry up into our legs. Try it and see for yourself because it's hard to put into words.

Eat in a way that builds your body. Don't starve yourself, but focus on high-nutrient, low-calorie foods like green vegetables and berries. The key is to make the majority of your diet whole, natural foods rather than processed ones.

There are also many good body contouring creams that are clinically proven to reduce the sight of cellulite. Be sure to use one of these creams every day when you get out of the shower.
